1asp135I FOR ONE, STAND UP TO BE COUNTED AS “ONE SPIRIT” WITH MY JEWISH BROTHERS & SISTERS, AND IN SUPPORT OF ISRAEL but not its political agendas as far as those agendas do not support “saved Israel”! Why? Because as Paul plainly stated NOT every one who claims to be Jewish is Jewish for to be a true Jew you must be one INWARDLY in the Spirit!“It must be remembered that the Bible is a book written by Jews, to Jews, about a Jewish Lord, so like it or lump it. And please understand I do not support the political agendas of ANY NATION if it goes against Gods will at any point so do not use this as a stick to beat the Jews with as they are no more at fault for their governments political stupidity than you are for yours unless you do not vote. I support those Jews who have come to know Yeshua ( JESUS) as Lord and God as I would all TRUE BELIEVERS ON EARTH TODAY! In order to understand the meaning of their words for today,

we must read them in the context of their world, not ours.

To start this out I would like to answer one question: I am not Jewish (In the Flesh that is) BUT I am GRAFTED INTO the tree with my ROOTS INTACT! To put this in context let’s do a little FACT checking to find out why and who hates the Jews!~

PLEASE WATCH THESE EYE-OPENING VIDEO PRESENTATIONS: IF THIS DOESN’T MOVE YOU,YOUR ALREADY DEAD..SO JUST GO BACK TO SLEEP AND I HOPE SOMEONE CAN WAKE YOU WHEN YESHUA RETURNS!
It is interesting to note here that these “HATERS” feel just as badly about their own people as they do the Jews so what hope is there for a Religion that has such SELF LOATHING?

“Muslims are the vilest of animals…”
“Show mercy to one another, but be ruthless to Muslims”
“How perverse are Muslims!”
“Strike off the heads of Muslims, as well as their fingertips”
“Fight those Muslims who are near to you”
“Muslim mischief makers should be murdered or crucified”
THIS IS “HATE SPEECH”BY EXTREMISTS AGAINST THEIR OWN PEOPLE..THIS IS THE REAL ISLAM,THEY EVEN HATE THEIR OWN PEOPLE, BUT THEN “WHO DON’T THEY HATE? Here is how they actually appear in the literature that groups like CAIR are pushing: LINKS EXPLAIN VERSES MORE DEEPLY!
Sura (8:55) – Surely the vilest of animals in Allah’s sight are those who disbelieve
Sura (48:29) – Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. And those with him are hard (ruthless) against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves
Sura (9:30) – And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah… Allah (Himself) fights against them. How perverse are they!
Sura (8:12) – I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them
Sura (9:123) – O you who believe! Fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness
Sura (5:33) – The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement These verses come from five different places in the Qur’an. There are dozens of others scattered throughout that advocate violence in open-ended fashion. There are hundreds more that speak of hatred and hell toward Christians, Jews, and other non-believers.
(Is it any wonder that the Muslim world is split largely between those who tacitly support Islamic terror and those who do nothing about it?)
Very few of these verses are bound by historical context within the text of the Qur’an, and any appeal to external sources for mitigation would apply also to the tiny handful of verses that are used (disingenuously) to promote Islam as being loving and tolerant. More importantly, there are far more violent verses than ones of tolerance, and most were “revealed” later, thus abrogating the handful of earlier ones.
And yet, this is the book that CAIR wants people to read! This is what CAIR considers to be holy text, even to the extent that an exact replica of the Qur’an (grammatical errors and all) is said to be on a table in heaven guarded by angels.
So, the next time you hear CAIR smugly accusing its critics of “hate speech,” just remember what the organization’s agenda really is:
They don’t mind hate speech directed at non-Muslims. In fact, they promote it.
They don’t mind religious minorities being denied rights that Muslims have in Muslims societies. In fact, they plug fatwas and religious literature that encourage discrimination.
They don’t even mind the vast amount of terrorism in the name of Islam. In fact, they refuse to acknowledge and denounce more than 99% of it, including the on-going genocide against black Africans by Arabs.
The language of civil rights and tolerance is merely a tool of convenience for prominent Muslim organizations in the West to advance the cause of Islamic supremacy. A true civil rights organization, however, is concerned about rights for all people, regardless of race or religion, and this is something that Islam has never been able to produce… and probably never will…
At least not according to their Qur’an!
Israel in Hebrew means:
“who prevails with God”
(“soldier of” or “contender with God”.)
Dispelling Middle East Myths
“The Myth of Muslim Tolerance”

Another of the “big lies” is that that Jews who lived under Muslim Arab rule before the birth of Israel had harmonious relations with the Arabs and were treated withthisishowtheythink dignity and tolerance. The implication is that if Israel would submit to Arab rule, the fighting would stop and Muslims, Jews, and Christians in the Middle East would live happily ever after. Yasser Arafat has said, “We are not against Jews. On the contrary, we are all Semites and we have been living with each other in peace and fraternity. Muslims, Jews and Christians, for many centuries.” But what are the facts?

Prior to the time of Mohammed, Jews and Arabs did live in relative peace with one another. However, when the Jews rejected Mohammed as a prophet, he turned against them with a vengeance as seen in his violent actions against the Jews. His negative attitude is found in the many hostile comments against Jews in the Koran.
The caliph who succeeded Mohammed was Omar. He produced a document called the Omar Charter in which he codified the conditions Jews were to live by under Islamic Arab rule. Here are some of the conditions of peace and fraternity the Jews enjoyed. Christians lived under similar restrictions.
Jews were forbidden to touch the Koran. (Funny, even the Pope could KISS it and he’s the leader of a church that persecuted Muslims…funny how that works!)
Jews were required to wear distinctive clothing.
Jews were required to wear a yellow piece of cloth as a badge (blue for Christians).
Jews were not allowed to perform their religious practices in public.
Jews were not allowed to own a horse which was a sign of a nobleman.
Jews were required to bury their dead without grieving in public.
Jews were required to pay special taxes.
Jews were not allowed to defend themselves against a Moslem.
Jews were not allowed to testify against a Moslem.
Jews were forbidden to build new synagogues.
The houses and tombs of Jews were not allowed to be higher than those of the Moslems.
The graves of Jews had to be level so that anyone could walk over them.

terrorist1Throughout the centuries, Jews and Christians living under Islamic rule suffered great persecution and humiliation, the intensity of which was determined by the character of the particular Moslem ruler. Even under relevantly tolerant rule, Jews struggled to survive and lived in constant fear for their lives. So much for brotherly peace and tranquility.

In more modern times, when Jordan illegally occupied East Jerusalem from 1948-1967, all Jewish residents were expelled and barred from the Western Wall. The Jewish quarter, including all fifty-eight synagogues, was destroyed or desecrated. Approximately seventy-five percent of the tombstones on the Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives were dismantled and used to serve army latrines. This was done under the rule of King Hussein, the most moderate of the Arab rulers.
There is not doubt that an Islamic Palestinian state would turn synagogues and churches into mosques and expel Jews and Christians or force them into a life of fear and humiliation. Does the Christian world really want Arafat to control the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the empty tomb and Manger Square? Does the Jewish world really want Arafat to control the Temple Mount, the Mount of Olives and the Old City? Do Jews and Christians in Israel and in America really want to live under Islamic rule?
“The Myth of Palestine”

Joseph Goebbels, Nazi Minister of Propaganda and Information, said that a big lie that is told often enough and long enough will eventually be accepted as truth. Withstophim cooperation from the world’s media, coupled with ignorance, apathy, and anti-Semitism among the nations, Israel is being presented as a giant Goliath killing little Davids who are only armed with stones. There would be peace in the Middle East if only Goliath Israel would agree to little David’s demand for a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. This is one of the many lies constantly repeated to the uninformed West. The purpose of this presentation is to expose some of the myths (read that big lies) regarding the Arab-Israeli conflict.

In an article entitled, “The Lesson of Palestine,” printed in the Middle East Journal, October 1949, Arab activist, Musa Alami, wrote, “how can people struggle for their nation, when most of them do not know the meaning of the word? … The people are in great need of a “myth” of imagination. The myth of nationality would create “identity” and “self-respect.”
The Arab world has certainly demonstrated great skill in the “myth” of imagination. They have done such a good job that they have convinced much of the world that their “myths” are facts. Perhaps their biggest myth is the myth of Palestine. The Arab world would have us believe that the Palestinians have been in “Palestine” from “time immemorial” but were displaced by the Jews when Israel became a state in 1948. But what are the facts?
While we are not certain of the exact dates, Joshua conquered the Land God promised the Jews in the 13th century BCE. King David established Jerusalem as the capital of Israel around 1000 BCE. King Solomon built the Jewish Temple about 960 BCE. This was almost 1000 years before the beginning of Christianity and 1600 years before the rise of Islam. As Prime Minister Barak has noted, “When Jesus came to Jerusalem to celebrate the feasts, he didn’t come to a church or a mosque, he came to the Temple.” It is not the Church Mount or the Mosque Mount that is fought over, it is the Temple Mount. It was the Temple Mount centuries before Christianity tried to make it the Church Mount and Islam tried to make it the Mosque Mount.
However, not to be confused with facts, in a personal audience I had several years ago with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, who was appointed by Arafat, he boldly declared that the Arabs had been living in the Land for 10,000 years. Based on conservative Bible chronology, that means the Arabs have been living in the Land before the Almighty created Adam and Eve.
How did Israel become Palestine and who are the Palestinians? The second Jewish war with the Romans took place in 132-135 CE. Led by Rabbi Akiva and Simon bar Kochba, the Jewish uprising was crushed by the Roman Emperor Hadrian who sought to de-Judaize Jerusalem and make it a pagan city. Hadrian renamed Jerusalem “Aelia Capitolina” in honor of Jupiter. He changed the name of Judea and gave it the name of the Jews ancient enemy, the Philistines. He called it — Palestine.
Over time, Palestine was ruled by the Roman Byzantines (312-637) [Persian interrupt 614-629], Omayyad Arabs (638-750), Islamic Abbassid’s (750-1099), Crusaders (1099-1291) [Saladin the Kurd interrupt 1187-93], Mamluks (1291-1516), Ottoman Turks (1517-1917), and the British Mandate (1917-1948). None of these rulers established a sovereign state in the Land and Jerusalem was never the capital of any empire since the time of King David. Palestine was a forgotten desolate, wasteland, but historical records show there was always a Jewish presence in the Land.
The revival of modern Jewish life in the Land began in the 1880’s with the arrival of Russian refugees from the Russian pogroms. A second wave of immigration, also from Russia, was in 1905. This was followed by later immigrations resulting in a growing Jewish population in the Land. When the Jews came to the Land, they found a malaria infested swamp in the north and an uninhabitable desert in the south. It was as if the God of the Bible had kept the Land hidden away in obscurity until the rightful owners — the Jews returned to claim it.

hand_rightAN HISTORICAL FACT :The Jewish pioneers did not steal the Land from the Arabs. They purchased the Land at highly inflated prices from absentee landlords living outside the Land. As the Jews worked the Land, it began to prosper. While there were Jews and Arabs living in the Land, there were many poor migrant Arab farm workers in the surrounding Arab countries who needed work. When they heard that the Land was prospering under the hand of the Jews, they migrated to Palestine to get work from the Jews. Furthermore, the British allowed many thousands of Arabs into Palestine illegally while barring the Jews from entering the Land. For the most part, the Arab Palestinians are these peasant farm workers and illegal aliens.

“Palestinians” have never been a distinct people, they have never had a sovereign land called Palestine, Jerusalem has never been their capital, there is no Palestinian language or culture, and there is no Palestinian people. It is a myth created after the Jews liberated Jerusalem in 1967.

Before the birth of the State of Israel, Arab leaders themselves denied the existence of an Arab country called Palestine. In 1937, Arab leader, Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi said, “There is no such country [as Palestine]! ‘Palestine’ is a term the Zionists invented! There is no Palestine in the Bible. ‘Palestine” is alien to us; it is the Zionists who introduced it.” In 1946, a distinguished Princeton professor and Arab historian said, “There is no such thing as Palestine in Arab history, absolutely not.”

All who lived in the Land, Jews, Arabs, and Christians, were called Palestinians. In fact, the Jerusalem Post was called the Palestinian Post. Under the British Mandate, the Palestinian Jews were given a state. But before this state came into existence, Colonial Secretary, Winston Churchill, in 1922, took away seventy-seven percent of the geographic area promised to the Jews and created Transjordan as a state for the Palestinian Arabs. Israel would be for the Palestinian Jews and Transjordan (now Jordan) for the Palestinian Arabs.
Israel became a state in the War of Independence in 1948. At that time, approximately 600,000 Arabs fled to become refugee pawns in the hands of neighboring Arab states. Some number of Arabs stayed to become Israeli citizens. While we certainly sympathize with the plight of the Arab refugees, their problems could easily be solved if their Arab brothers cared enough to assimilate them as the Jews did their own 800,000 immigrants from the Arab countries.
Middle East Myths
“The Myth of Arab Refugees”

When Israel became a nation, 800,000 Jewish refugees fled from the Arab states to Israel. While it took tremendous sacrifice on the part of the new nation, these refugees, whose land and money was confiscated by the Arabs, were assimilated in the fledgling new state and became productive citizens of Israel. The growing Arab Palestinian population was not as fortunate.
Arab leaders from the neighboring countries declared war against Israel. They then instructed the Arab Palestinians to flee the Jewish state until the Jews were annihilated. They then could return and possess the land. While there is no doubt that Jewish fighters drove some Arabs away, the Jewish leaders encouraged the Arabs to stay. The great majority of Arabs were not expelled but left without ever seeing an Israeli soldier.

The hated “Jewish-Zionists” did not force the Arab Palestinians to leave. Their own leaders forced them to leave the land. This created the Arab Palestinian refugee problem. The Arab countries have refused to assimilate the Arab Palestinians and care for their needs. Instead, they continue to use them as political pawns in their struggle against Israel.

Promising them glory, money, and paradise, and I might add CNN cameras, the PLO and other terrorist organizations have no problem recruiting young Arab Palestinians to fight the “Zionist” enemy. In fact, Yasser Arafat conducts youth camps where he teaches young people how to fight the Jews. He dresses up small children in uniforms and teaches them how to blow themselves up as martyrs. And as the whole world now knows, he sends children out to fight his battles for him.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) was given the responsibility of administrating the refugee problem. The billions of dollars given by the UNRWA to assist the “refugees” comes primarily from the American taxpayer. This has become a big business with thousands profiting from it. No one connected with it has any interest in ending the plight of the displaced Arab Palestinians. The real legitimate right of these people is to be assimilated by the Arab countries from which they initially came.
“Why Christians Should Learn About
“Jews and Jewish Traditions”

Part One

Why should Christians learn about Jews and Jewish traditions? The answers to these questions cannot only be informative and enlightening, they can also be somewhat challenging because they force us to rethink centuries of tradition and stereotyping regarding Christianity and Jews.
Most do not realize there was a vital connection between Christianity and Judaism that was severed by the Christian church centuries ago. Once that severing took place, biblical Judaism and biblical Christianity, which God intended to be one, went their separate ways with tragic consequences for both.

Returning to Our Roots

We are living at a time when the Lord is calling both Jews and Christians back to their biblical roots. The biblical root of Christianity grew from an everlasting covenant God made with Abraham. Christians become part of that covenant through faith in Jesus (Yeshua).

There were 2,000 years of Hebrew history, culture, language, traditions and customs that formed the root of Christianity. We may not like it nor want to acknowledge it, but Christianity is nourished from that Hebraic/Jewish root. The more we can learn about our Hebraic/Jewish roots, the more blessed we will be in our Christian lives.

A Fuller and Clearer Understanding of the Bible

While Christians in America view life with a Western mind and world view, the Bible was written by Abraham’s descendants who had an Hebraic culture, language, and world view. This presents a real problem and challenge. We have a Middle-Eastern book that we seek to understand from our Western culture.

Our Western perspective can easily cause us to misunderstand the Bible. Furthermore, our mind has been more influenced by Greek philosophy than biblical, Hebrew thought. This is why we must study the Hebraic/Jewish roots of Christianity.
When we read the Bible through Hebrew eyes, our understanding becomes much richer, deeper, and clearer with more detail than we could ever imagine.
We gain new and powerful insights and clarity of vision because we are perceiving the Bible through the eyes of the writers.
We see truths that we just cannot see with our Western eyes no matter how honorable our motives and intense our desires.

Exciting New Insights About the Teachings of Jesus

While Christians have a good understanding of the divinity of Jesus, few know Jesus the man. Every culture makes Jesus over into their own image.

Westerners get upset when they discover that Jesus was not a European. Religious groups get upset when they discover that Jesus was not a member of their denomination. The PLO is trying to make Jesus into a Palestinian.
Jesus was a Jew born into a Jewish family in the Jewish village of Bethlehem in the land of Israel. His heritage was Hebraic and He kept all the Laws of God.
Jesus’ followers were Jewish. The New Testament tells us that they worshipped on Saturday (the biblically appointed day), attended the Synagogue and kept the feasts.
They acknowledged Jesus as the Jewish King and Messiah, wrote the Jewish New Testament, and lived Torah-observant lifestyles (Acts 21:20)
Jesus and His early followers were deeply rooted in the rich Hebraic soil of their ancestors. They thought, taught, and lived out of this soil. God planted Christianity in this soil and we must return to it in order to be biblically nourished.
“Why Christians Should Learn About
“Jews and Jewish Traditions”

Part Two

Clarification of Pauls Writings

Paul is one of the most misunderstood persons in history. Both Christians and Jews believe Paul was an anti-Law Jew who established a Gentile brand of Christianity that was different from his ancient faith. We learn otherwise when we study Paul’s writings from his Hebraic-Jewish roots.

The greatest misunderstanding of Paul’s writing relates to his views on Law and Grace. For centuries, the church has taught that, in the First Testament, the Hebrews were saved by Law, but in the New Testament we are saved by grace and faith.
From a Western view, the Law was understood as a legalistic system of rules which the Hebrews had to keep in order to be saved. Grace was understood as freedom from the Law. Judaism with its Law, and Christianity with its grace, were placed in opposition to one another.
This is a Western view, but it is not Paul’s view, nor is it what he intended us to understand from his writings.

m_b3994024fb5f8116a4f2bc864dc0e028TORAH

The Hebrew word for law is Torah.

It means to teach, instruct, guide, and direct.
Torah is teaching people the way to walk with God.
It does not mean a legalistic set of rules one must follow in order to be saved, ONLY man’s ADDED RULES distort God’s Laws.
The consequence of this misunderstanding has been a disaster for the church. Christianity became a lawless religion in which people believed they could simply confess a creed and live as they pleased and this has brought down the wrath of God against ungodly false Religions around the World which are no better than the people THEY condemn .
The entire New Testament is Torah teaching us how to walk with God in order to live an abundant Christian life.

A Better Follower of Jesus

Another exciting benefit of studying our Hebraic/Jewish roots is that we will be a better follower of Jesus.

Jesus said to two of His followers, … 0 foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Ought not the Christ (Messiah) to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory? And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself (Luke 24:25-26).
Luke recorded this story and went on to say.” Then their eyes were opened and they knew Him. … And they said to one another, Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” (Luke 24:31-32).
When we learn our Hebraic-Jewish roots, the Spirit of the Living God will open our spiritual eyes to know Jesus more clearly and more intimately. Gods words will burn within our hearts with a fresh fire that cannot be quenched.

These articles are from another site called:” The Hem of his garment”and are excellent resources in understanding our JEWISH ROOTS!
Here is a wonderful story in the Old Testament Book of Esther that tells the sad story of a mans HATRED of the Jews and Gods delivering Power. Est 3:1 After these things did king Ahasuerus promote Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him, and set his seat above all the princes that were with him. 3:2 And all the king’s servants, that were in the king’s gate, bowed, and reverenced Haman: for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence. 3:3 Then the king’s servants, which were in the king’s gate, said unto Mordecai, Why transgressest thou the king’s commandment? 3:4 Now it came to pass, when they spoke daily unto him, and he hearkened not unto them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mordecai’s matters would stand: for he had told them that he was a Jew. 3:5 And when Haman saw that Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence, then was Haman full of wrath. 3:6 And he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had showed him the people of Mordecai: wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai. 3:7 In the first month, that is, the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of king Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day, and from month to month, to the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar. 3:8 And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from all people; neither keep they the king’s laws: therefore it is not for the king’s profit to suffer them. 3:9 If it please the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed: and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver to the hands of those that have the charge of the business, to bring it into the king’s treasuries. 3:10 And the king took his ring from his hand, and gave it unto Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the Jews’ enemy. 3:11 And the king said unto Haman, The silver is given to thee, the people also, to do with them as it seemeth good to thee. 3:12 Then were the king’s scribes called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and there was written according to all that Haman had commanded unto the king’s lieutenants, and to the governors that were over every province, and to the rulers of every people of every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language; in the name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and sealed with the king’s ring. 3:13 And the letters were sent by posts into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey. 3:14 The copy of the writing for a commandment to be given in every province was published unto all people, that they should be ready against that day. 3:15 The posts went out, being hastened by the king’s commandment, and the decree was given in Shushan the palace. And the king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city Shushan was perplexed. Those who HATE those they don’t understand always begin by justifying themselves by making false and malicious representations of Jewish life, and the character of their faith. BIGOTS are never satisfied with just ONE person to hate,it always spills over to a PEOPLE,WHO THEN BECOME INHUMAN to soften the blow to their “weakened conscience”
An anti-Semite is
-“one who is hostile or opposed to the Jews.”
The Oxford English Dictionary 2nd ed., (Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1991)
-one who “discriminates against Jews.”

(Sydney: William Collins Sons & Co., 1979)
Being anti-Semitic is
-“having or showing prejudice against Jews.”
Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary
And anti-Semitism is defined as:
“the hatred of Jews and the application of a
double standard in treating Jews.”
“The UN anti-Semitism resolution,” Jerusalem Post, March 13, 1994
Conspiracy or just Business as Usual?!CONSPIRACY:
“A Planning and acting together secretly, especially for an unlawful or harmful purpose, such as murder or treason.”
Webster’s New World Dictionary
THIS IS THE PASSIONATE EXCUSE OF ALL THE HATERS OF GOD AND OF THE JEWS: “ITS A CONSPIRACY AGAINST THE WORLD”,WHEN THE TRUTH IS ITS A”REAL CONSPIRACY” AGAINST ALL THAT GOD LOVES AND CHERISHES If the total truth were known, the entire world is gripped in the clutches of a GLOBAL ONE WORLD CONSPIRACY TO DESTROY CHRISTIANS & JEWS ALIKE! THE TRUE UNDERGROUND CHURCH OF YESHUA HAS ALWAYS STOOD BY ISRAEL AND THE JEWS BUT, THE “RELIGIOUS ARM OF CHURCHIANITY”IS WET WITH THE BLOOD OF JEWS & TRUE BELIEVERS ALL THROUGH HISTORY! This a conspiracy DONE IN PLAIN SIGHT in small increments, here a little there a little until we IGNORE what our eyes and ears KNOW IS TRUE! HATE relies on the fact that the average person WON’T STAND UP FOR THE RIGHTS OF THE DOWN TRODDEN but crawl away in FEAR of their OWN LIFE.This cannot be denyed by anyone unless they are “Totally Deceived & Brainwashed”by demons . HOW CAN ANYONE WHO KNOWS THAT JESUS WAS A JEWISH CARPENTER BELIEVE FOR EVEN A MOMENT THAT “HE”WOULD ALLOW “HIS PEOPLE”(THE CHURCH OF THE GENTILES) AT HIS COMMAND TO SLAUGHTER “HIS OWN PEOPLE (THE JEWS) ? CATHOLICS & PROTESTANT’S ALIKE ARE GUILTY OF THE BLOOD OF JEWS & TRUE BELIEVERS UNDER THEIR “RULE OF RELIGIOUS BIGOTRY ” Let’s not fool ourselves about the judgments of these crimes against humanity,GOD NEVER FORGETS OUR CRIMES WITHOUT OUR PERSONAL REPENTANCE FOR THEM….WELL ,I REPENT RIGHT NOW FOR THE CRIMES OF MURDER AND INTOLERANCE OF MY FOREFATHERS TOWARD JEWS AND TRUE BELIEVERS…JUST TO RELEASE MY SOUL FROM GUILT AND I HOPE EVERYONE WHO READS THIS WILL ALSO REPENT OF ANY HISTORY OF BLOOD IN YOUR PAST OR PRESENT! Mat 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
It takes no brain power or forethought to HATE SOMEONE ELSE,in fact it PROVES you have no forethought or self control if you do hate someone…NOW HERE’S THE CLINCHER..AS BELIEVER’S IN YESHUA WE MUST FORGIVE AND GENUINELY LOVE ALL OUR ENEMIES,THAT CAN ONLY BE DONE BY A TRUE HEART CHANGED BY GOD…..so,now you know how God KNOWS YOUR HIS..IF YOU LOVE THOSE WHO HATE YOU! Those who cannot LOVE are what the Bible calls Hypocrites
HYP’OCRITE, n.
1. One who feigns to be what he is not; one who has the form of godliness without the power, or who assumes an appearance of piety and virtue, when he is destitute of true religion.
And the hypocrite’s hope shall perish. Job 8.
2. A dissembler; one who assumes a false appearance.
Fair hypocrite, you seek to cheat in vain.
People who hate are the most miserable people on earth, nothing is ever good enough or self-fulfilling enough to please them and thus, they are IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE..AS CAN BE SEEN IN THE MIDDLE EAST CONFLICT,ISRAEL CAN DO NOTHING SHORT OF BEING ANNIHILATED TO PLEASE THESE EXTREMISTS!
The Promised Land?
by Steve Wohlberg
A heated debate is raging over who owns the land upon which modern Jerusalem sits. Recently-labeled “Christian Zionists” (1) say God originally gave that land to the Jews, therefore the Palestinians have no real “right” to it at all. These Christian Zionists have urged President Bush and U.S. politicians to reject the proposed Road Map to Peace as offensive to God because it grants Palestinians equal rights to live on the land – and to have their own state – next to Israel. The Road Map has even been labeled “a Roadmap to hell” (2) – a denial of God’s ancient promise to give His chosen people that specific piece of real estate.
Let’s take a closer look at the biblical facts, not just in the Old Testament, but also in the New Testament written in the full light of Jesus Christ.
First, the Old Testament. In Genesis 17:8, God said to Abraham, “I will give to you and to your seed after you, the land wherein you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.” Notice carefully that this promise was made to both to Abraham and his seed, and that the land was to be given to both as an “everlasting possession.” Now think about it. In order for Abraham to possess the land as an “everlasting possession,” he must live forever. This can only be realized through the death and resurrection of Abraham’s primary “seed” who, according to Paul, is Jesus Christ Himself (Gal. 3:16). Thus in Genesis 17:8, just like in other Old Testament verses, “God … preached before the gospel to Abraham” (Gal. 3:8).
Remember, God promised Abraham the land would be his for an everlasting possession. Yet – and this is a key point – according to the New Testament, God actually “gave him [Abraham] none inheritance in it [the literal land], no, not so much as to set his foot on; yet he promised him he would give it to him as an everlasting possession” (Acts 7:5).
Here we find:
  1. God promised the land to Abraham
  2. Abraham never possessed the literal land of Canaan.
How can we reconcile this? Did God lie? Has His Word failed? Obviously not. The only way to reconcile this is to realize that the ultimate promise of “the land” did not concern sin-cursed soil but rather the “new earth” (see Revelation 21:1) which Abraham would one day possess as an “everlasting possession” through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Did Abraham look for sin-cursed land or sin-freed land as the primary fulfillment of God’s promise? The answer is in Hebrews 11. Abraham “sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country… with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise… for he looked for a city which has foundations [the New Jerusalem], whose builder and maker is God… these all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off… they confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth … but now they desire a better country, that is a heavenly” (verses 9-16, italics added).
These verses prove that the primary land Abraham was looking for was the same land he physically dwelt in, but in a renovated state. The same is true of all the Old Testament believers, for Hebrews 11 also refers to Joseph, Moses, Gideon, Samuel and “all the prophets” (verse 32), saying they all “received not the promise” (verse 39) of the land as an “everlasting possession.” Thus – and don’t miss this point! – even though these Old Testament saints lived in the physical land of Canaan, they still waited for the future fulfillment of God’s “land” promise to Abraham. Throughout their entire lives they were yet “strangers and pilgrims on the earth.”
To simplify, we might refer to: 1) The Primary Land, 2) The Secondary Land. In Part 2 of this mini-series we will take a closer look at The Secondary Land – the actual land of Canaan yet under the curse of sin – which the Old Testament saints lived in. Apart from this, we must always keep in mind that the New Testament clearly reveals that the ultimate hope of Abraham and the Old Testament saints was not the sin-cursed earth upon which modern Jerusalem sits, but The Primary Land – the same land cleansed from sin – which all God’s faithful children will someday inherit as an “everlasting possession” through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Abraham’s primary “seed” (Galatians 3:16).
“Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for a new heaven and a new earth, wherein righteousness dwells.” 2 Peter 3:13.

  2. Ibid. “It has been shown from Scripture that God’s original promise to Abraham to give him “the land of Canaan” as an “everlasting possession” (see Genesis 17:8) applied primarily to that same land cleansed from sin, also called “a better country, even a heavenly” (Hebrews 11:16) which all God’s children will one day inherit as their eternal home through Jesus Christ. Peter wrote, “But we, according to His promise, look for a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells” (2 Peter 3:13).
We have previously defined The Primary Land as the same land cleansed from sin (the new earth) and The Secondary Land as the physical sin-cursed land modern Jerusalem sits on. Let’s take a closer look at The Secondary Land. Did God give The Secondary Land unconditionally to Jewish people apart from whether they had faith and obeyed Him? Many think so. Their belief is that since God gave the land originally to Abraham’s seed, this must mean that all Jews throughout history – including modern Israelis – have an unconditional right to that real estate. This issue has become especially volatile in light of the Road Map to Peace. President Bush, U.S. politicians, and many Israeli leaders are saying the land should now be shared between Jews and Palestinians. This proposal is designed to lessen bloody conflict and promote peace. But many so-called Christian Zionists protest this plan, calling it “a Roadmap to hell,” contending that only Jews have rights to land, based on the Old Testament.
What does the Old Testament really say? The answer may surprise you.
In Exodus 19:5, God said to Israel, “If you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure to me above all people: for all the earth is mine.” Thus Israel’s being “a peculiar treasure … above all people” was conditional upon their obedience to God’s voice.
Deuteronomy 28 is the famous chapter of the blessings and curses. If Israel obeyed God, she would be blessed. If she disobeyed, she would be cursed. Such blessings and curses also applied to “the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you” (vs. 11). If Israel followed God, she would be blessed in that land, but if she disobeyed God said, “you shall be plucked from off the land … until you are destroyed” (verses 61,63). Thus Israel’s right to the land was conditional upon her relationship with God.
History suggests that over two million people left Egypt with Moses. As Israel journeyed through the wilderness, God repeated His promise to give them “the land which you are going to possess” (Deuteronomy 7:1). God’s “land promise” surely applied to those two million people. But what happened? Almost all of them died in the wilderness because of their sins. Paul later wrote, “they could not enter in because of unbelief” (Hebrews 3:19). This proves that even though God promised the land, faith was required to receive the promise. Faith = land. No faith = no right to the land, even though God had promised it to them. Because Israel sinned, God said, “you shall know my breach of promise” (Numbers 14:34).
The next generation – the generation under Joshua’s leadership – had faith and entered the land. Yet as time went on, the majority departed from faith and obedience to God’s Law. Again the Lord warned, “I will cast you out of this land” (Jeremiah 16:12,13) unless things changed. Eventually, the armies of Babylon came and “Judah was carried away captive out of his own land” (Jeremiah 52:27). Before this captivity, God strongly reiterated the conditional nature of His promises to Israel. Notice carefully, “At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation [He was talking to Israel], and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it; If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good wherewith I said I would benefit them. Now therefore go to speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus says the Lord; Behold, I frame evil against you ….” (Jeremiah 18:9-11, italics added).
Here God said that even though He made promises to Israel, if Israel did evil and refused to obey His voice, He said, “I will repent of the good wherewith I said I would benefit them.” This is clear evidence that God’s promises to Israel were conditional. This also applied to the land. Because Israel disobeyed, she lost the land and was carried to Babylon.
The Lord is “the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8.
How does this apply to the Israeli nation today? Does the modern Jewish nation now have an unconditional right to that land because God originally gave it to her ancient forefathers? Clearly in the Old Testament, when Israel disobeyed God, she lost her right to that land. So let’s ask this question: Is modern Israel obedient or disobedient? In the blazing light of the New Testament, such obedience must be judged by Israel’s reception or rejection of God’s Son, Jesus Christ.
According to both the Old and New Testaments, the modern Jewish nation does not have any divine, unconditional right to the earthly land of Canaan (The Secondary Land). In this light, it is this writer’s hope that the Road Map will achieve some limited success in promoting harmony in that volatile region. More importantly, the time is fast approaching when “the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also [including The Secondary Land] and the works that are therein shall be burned up … Nevertheless we, according to his promise [the original promise to Abraham], look for a new heavens and a new earth [The Primary Land] where righteousness dwells.” 2 Peter 3:10,13.
The only ones – whether Jews, Palestinians, Russians, Europeans, Chinese or Americans – who have any hope of living forever on The Primary Land are those who repent of their sins, believe in Jesus Christ, and follow the truth of the Bible.
“And if you belong to Christ, then are you Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:29
    All Israel Shall Be Saved?
    by Steve Wohlberg
Romans 11:26 says, “And so all Israel will be saved.” What does this mean?
Obviously, it doesn’t mean every Jew will be saved. In fact, the same chapter says God hopes to “save some of them” (vs. 14). Judas was a Jew, yet we know he will be lost for betraying Christ. Jesus called him, “the son of perdition” (John 17:12). Jesus told many Jews, “If you do not believe I am He [the Messiah], you will die in your sins” (John 8:24). Not every Jew believes in Jesus Christ, thus many will “die in their sins” and be lost.
Many Christians today interpret Romans 11:26 as applying to the end of the seven-year tribulation when Jesus appears in the clouds at His Second Coming. In other words, they don’t apply the verse to all Jews throughout history, but only to “all Jews” who are alive at the end. Supposedly, at the end of the tribulation, all remaining Jews in Israel will look up, see Christ coming in the clouds, realize He is the true Messiah, believe in Him, and thus “All Israel will be saved.”
This is a false teaching, as I will attempt to show.
  3. First, the context of Romans 11 is not the Second Coming.”There is no partiality with God” (Romans 2:5-11). It would be an act of partiality to save “all Jews” at the end, but not “all Jews” in history. The idea is, “When all final Jews see Christ coming in the clouds, then they will believe.” But this would give those final Jews a supposedly irresistible opportunity to believe in Jesus Christ which past Jews have not had. Nor would this be fair to “all Gentiles” living at the end. Why would God save all Jews at the end but not all Gentiles? All Gentiles will see Jesus coming just like all Jews. When Christ finally appears in the clouds, IT’S TOO LATE TO BELIEVE IN HIM. Rev. 22:11,12 says that before He comes in the clouds, all decisions have already been made. Jesus said it will be like Noah’s day (Mat. 24:37-39). In Noah’s day the door of the ark closed before the flood came (Gen. 7:16). When the flood came, it was too late. To save all Jews AT THE SECOND COMING would be like saving all those outside the ark WHEN THE RAIN STARTED FALLING.When Jesus comes in the clouds, this is the time of judgment upon ALL unbelievers who don’t know God nor obey the gospel (2 Thess. 1:7-10; Jude 14,15).
So what does this mean, “All Israel shall be saved”? First of all, Romans 9:6 says there are two Israels. one is an Israel according to the flesh (Romans 9:3,4) and the other is the Israel of God (Galatians 6:14-16). The Israel of God is composed of both Jews and Gentiles who believe in Jesus Christ (Gal. 3:29). Gentiles who believe are grafted in. They become part of the “same body” with believing Jews (Eph. 3:6). Paul calls this unity of believing Jews and Gentiles, “the mystery of Christ” (Eph. 3:4).
The immediate context of Romans 11:26 is vs. 25. When “the fullness of the Gentiles has come in,” then “all Israel will be saved.” Or, to be exact, “And so all Israel will be saved.” In other words, the coming in of the fullness or total number of the Gentiles results in “all Israel” being saved. Paul’s idea seems to be that when all Gentiles (totally, throughout history) have come in, that is, have been grafted into the Vine, they, uniting with all Jews who have become believers, will form the total number of the saved. Paul also reveals that when Gentiles come in, God can use this to motivate some Jews to believe (verses 11 & 14). Vs. 25 calls this whole thing, “this mystery,” which we have already proven to be the “mystery” of both Jews and Gentiles being united in one body through Christ (Eph. 3:4,6). Vs. 27 says all are saved because Christ takes away their sins through His covenant, which must be the New Covenant, which applies to all believers, Jew and Gentile. Thus the “all Israel” that is saved is the total group of believing Gentiles and Jews combined.
The “all Israel that is saved” does not apply to all Jews throughout history, nor can it apply to a select favored group who become instant believers when Jesus Christ comes crashing down through the sky. By that time, it is too late to believe.
He Who Blesses Israel is Blessed?
by Steve Wohlberg
Across America the line is heard, “He who blesses Israel will be blessed and he who curses Israel will be cursed.” This line, supposedly from the Bible, is even quoted as a Divine, behind-the-scenes reason for the present prosperity of the United States. The idea is, America has become the most powerful nation on earth because she supports Israel.
First of all, America was en route to becoming a great nation long before she began to support Israel (the nation was reborn in 1948).
Secondly, the line, “He who blesses Israel will be blessed and he who curses Israel will be cursed” is really not in the Bible at all. That oft-repeated phrase is really a misinterpretation of one verse, Genesis 12:3.
In Genesis 12:3, God said to Abraham,

“I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you, and in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed.”

Notice, the direct “bless-curse” line concerned Abraham alone, not Israel, and “all the families of the earth” were to be blessed in Abraham, which meant through “his seed,” which was Jesus Christ (see Galatians 3:16). In order to receive that very blessing, individuals must be willing to be “turned away” from their sins by God’s grace (see Acts 3:25,26).
In Deuteronomy 28, God said if Israel followed Him she would be “blessed,” but if she strayed, she would be “cursed.” Throughout the Old Testament, God’s blessing or curse upon the Israelites was connected to their faith and obedience to His will. In the Bible, there is NO UNCONDITIONAL BLESSING upon any individual or nation that chooses to reject faith and disobey God. Paul said that “glory, honor, and peace” would come upon “the Jew first, and also the Gentile,” if they do what is right, whereas “indignation and wrath” would come “upon every soul of man that doeth evil, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile … for there is no respecter of persons with God” (Romans 2:8-11).
If Jews respond to God’s love, repent of their sins, trust in Jesus Christ as their promised Messiah, and do good, they will be blessed. If they don’t, they will be cursed. The same is true for every human being inside Jerusalem, America, Russia, Europe, China, or Japan.
There is no UNCONDITIONAL BLESSING in the Bible upon any man or nation, including America or the modern nation of Israel.
God pleads with us now,

I call heaven and earth to record against you this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your seed may live. Deuteronomy 30:19.
Should Christians Focus on Earthly Jerusalem?
by Steve Wohlberg
When it comes to Christians and Bible prophecy, the hot spot is Jerusalem. Prophecy teachers around the world are talking about Arafat, the PLO, the Jews, the Arabs, the peace process, a rebuilt Jewish Temple, and a final Middle East war of Armageddon.
Pastor John Hagee’s recently published book, The Battle for Jerusalem (2001), reveals this current focus. An advertisement declares, “Pastor John Hagee explains the heart of Israel’s struggle for Jerusalem and the Holy Temple Mount – and why the battle for Jerusalem should be of major concern to Christians around the world.” John Hagee Ministries (magazine), March / April 2001.
Should it really? While Christians should love Jewish people (and everyone else), and should definitely support Israel in her struggle against terrorism, we wish to ask – Does the New Testament really say we should focus on the earthly city of Jerusalem? And do New Testament prophecies, as is so commonly taught, really swirl around this location? The answer may surprise you. First of all, there is not one single direct reference in the book of Revelation to the earthly city of Jerusalem! Look for yourself. Jesus referred to “the city of my God, which is New Jerusalem, which cometh down from heaven from my God” (Revelation 3:12). “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from my God” (Revelation 21:2). “And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God” (Revelation 21:10). Here the New Jerusalem is plainly called “the holy city,” and this is where the saints of God are to live eternally.
Revelation 11:2 also refers to “the holy city.” Again, in Revelation 22:19, we read about “the holy city.” And Revelation 20:9 describes a final battle at the end of the 1000 years against “the camp of the saints … the beloved city” (20:9). Christians sometimes apply these verses to the present, earthly city of Jerusalem, but Revelation itself does not do this. As we have already seen, Revelation defines “the holy city” as the “new Jerusalem” (21:2). Thus there is no proof that the book of Revelation has even one reference to earthly Jerusalem!
Concerning the saints of God, the New Testament says, “But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city” (Hebrews 11:16). This city is clearly the New Jerusalem. Paul told his readers, “But you are come to mount sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem” (Hebrews 12:22).
The most powerful New Testament section on this subject is Galatians 4:22-31. An honest and careful study of Paul’s words reveals that earthly “Jerusalem which now is” (verse 25) is compared to Hagar, Ishmael, (verse 22), and the flesh (verse 23). Amazingly, it is “cast out” (verse 31) and is no longer an “heir” to the promises of God. But the “Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all” (verse 26).
Christians should love Jewish people, and should seek to thoughtfully share with them the message of Jesus their Messiah. Yet according to the New Testament, our focus should be on the New Jerusalem, rather than the present, war torn city in the Middle East.
Israel and Armageddon: Facts vs. Fiction
by Steve Wohlberg
Armageddon: The Cosmic Battle of the Ages is now launched. It is Book 11 of the New York Times best-selling Left Behind series. Unleashed on April 8, 2003 in the wake of a 5 million dollar ad campaign, Armageddon is now being read across the U.S. by Christians and “secular searchers” alike looking for answers in the midst of an America now at “War Against Terror.” Leftbehind.com, in it’s description of Armageddon’s basic story line, portrays a final remnant of scattered believers as being “drawn inexorably toward the Middle East, as are all the armies of the world, when history hones in on the battle of the ages.
Although couched in well-written fiction, Armageddon echoes the non-fiction theology of a small group of evangelical Bible teachers which is now eagerly being read by millions. The scene: History’s last battlefield in the Middle East. Final contestants: The Powers of Earth vs. the Jews. Nature of conflict: Military. Epicenter: A small valley northwest of Jerusalem where “all the armies of the world” will converge for “the battle of the ages.”
Supposedly – at least according to books like Armageddon, radio programs like Irvin Baxter Jr.’s Politics and Religion, TV networks like Pat Robertson’s CBN and Paul Crouch’s TBN, and high-budget apocalyptic films like The Omega Code – the Bible’s final prophecies will swirl around modern Israel and the blood-stained city of Jerusalem. During history’s last moments – again, supposedly – the Almighty will finally pulverize Israel’s invading enemies and defend His chosen people, the Jews. This end-of-the-age scenario is now being taught in Christian circles all over planet Earth.
The belief that God will ultimately defend Middle East Jews at Armageddon is so strongly embedded within the 21st century evangelical psyche that it has spilled over into politics and even influences U.S. foreign policy toward the Jewish State (1). The United States not only supports Israel as a democracy – which it should – but countless U.S. citizens, including prophecy-minded, politically active Christians in Washington D.C., believe strongly that if we support Israel, God will support us. From California to New York, on radio and TV, the line is often heard, “He who blesses Israel will be blessed, and He who curses Israel will be cursed,” although this oft-repeated phrase is really a misinterpretation of Genesis 12:3 which contains one sentence spoken to Abraham alone, not to the Israeli nation.
Personally, I am Jewish and love Jewish people. I also believe in Jesus Christ as my Messiah and Savior. As any Christian should, I long to see God’s blessing come upon both Jews and Arabs alike. The purpose of this article is not to condemn U.S. support for Israel or to try and solve a seemingly unsolvable Middle East mess, rather, its assignment is to take a second look at what the New Testament – especially the book of Revelation – really says about Israel, Jerusalem and Armageddon. Is Left Behind’s blockbuster 11th book, Armageddon: The Cosmic Battle of the Ages, correct in its core assumption that God will defend modern Jerusalem during Earth’s last war? Is the current “God-Is-Behind-Israel” theology of so many evangelical Christians really right? Or could there be “something wrong with this picture”? Let’s find out.
First of all – and this truth has seismic implications – the New Testament actually describes two Israels, not just one. Paul wrote, “They are not all Israel, which are of Israel” (Romans 9:6). What does this shocking text mean? Look closely. Those “of Israel” refer to people belonging to the literal Jewish nation. But just because people are “of Israel,” or Jewish, doesn’t necessarily mean they are truly “Israel” indeed!
To clarify, Paul said there is an “Israel according to the flesh” (1 Corinthians 10:18) and an “Israel of God” (Galatians 6:14-16) centered in Jesus Christ. For simplicity’s sake, I’ll call the first group, Israel one, and the second group, Israel Two. Israel one is composed of “Israelites … according to the flesh” (Romans 9:3,4) which refers to literal Jews who can trace their blood line back to Abraham, but who do not as of yet believe in Jesus Christ as their Messiah
Quite pointedly, Paul wrote, “They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God” (Romans 9:8). Thus Israel one, although it has a wonderful religious heritage, is made up largely of people who spiritually “are not the children of God.” In the New Testament sense, “the children of God,” applies only to those who have received Jesus Christ as Lord (see John 1:12). “The Israel of God” (Galatians 6:16), or Israel Two, refers to a composite group made up of both Jews and non-Jews who believe in the Crucified One, have died to self and been born-again (see verses 14,15). This group is called “the Israel of God” because it is God-centered, being made up of people who have a genuine experience with the Lord. Sadly, the majority of Middle East Israelis today don’t fit this description (although Jesus is working among them and many are coming to a full faith in Him).
Writing to non-Jews, or Gentiles, Paul wrote, “And if you belong to Christ, then are you Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:28,29). Don’t miss this, for it’s of mega-importance. This passage teaches that a Gentile, if he “belongs to Christ,” is mystically injected into “Abraham’s seed,” which according to Isaiah 41:8, is “Israel.” In Galatians 6, Paul summarized his doctrine by saying that anyone, circumcised or uncircumcised, who becomes a “new creature” through faith in Jesus, is now part of “the Israel of God” (verses 14-16). They belong to Israel Two.
Here’s the explosive question: Which group – Israel one or Israel Two – is Heaven’s focus in the book of Revelation? Is it “Israel after the flesh,” that is, modern Israel, with its present capital of Jerusalem? Millions of Bible prophecy-believing, conservative, politically active Christians think so. Left Behind’s 11th book, Armageddon, says so. But what does Revelation really teach? The answer will not be discovered casually, but through a deep study of God’s Word.
When we open Revelation’s mysterious pages, we discover predictions about mount Zion (14:1), the twelve tribes of Israel (7:4-8), Jerusalem (21:10), the temple (11:19), Sodom and Egypt (11:8), Babylon (17:5), the Euphrates river (16:12), and Armageddon (16:16). Thus Revelation uses the terminology and geography of the Middle East in its prophecies.
But wait a minute. Once again, here’s the mega-question: Does God want these prophecies to be applied to those literal places in the Middle East and to “Israel after the flesh” centered in modern Jerusalem (Israel one)? Or might He rather intend for a spiritual application of these prophecies to “the Israel of God” centered in Jesus Christ (Israel Two), that is, to a spiritual Israel made up only of born-again Jews and Gentiles scattered around the world? Most theologians apply Revelation to Israel one and to literal Middle East locations, but is this right?
Let’s start at the beginning of Revelation. The Bible’s last book is ultimately, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 1:1). Jesus Christ is the Source, the Center, the Interpreter. In chapter 1, John was “in the Spirit”- don’t forget this – when he saw Jesus walking “in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks” (verses 10-13). The idea of “seven golden candlesticks” takes our minds back to the seven-branched candlestick inside the Jewish temple before it was destroyed in 70 A.D. by Roman armies. Yet in Revelation, “the seven golden candlesticks” are clearly symbolic.
What do they represent? Explaining “the mystery,” the Interpreter declared, “the seven candlesticks which you saw are the seven churches” (Revelation 1:20). Thus, in Revelation’s very first chapter – I’m going to call this “Exhibit A” for it reveals a truth I wish to develop – Jesus Christ took something extremely Jewish and used it symbolically to represent His Church. As we shall see, this is the key interpretive principle to understanding the entire book.
Enter Exhibit B. In Revelation 2, in a dictated letter to “the church in Thyatira” (verse 18), Jesus reproved His people for allowing “that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants…” (verse 20). Jezebel was a wicked woman in Old Testament days who entered Israel and caused problems. Was Jesus saying “Jezebel” had been reincarnated, or resurrected, and was literally teaching deception within Thyatira? Obviously not. A little reflection reveals that He used the word, “Jezebel,” as a symbol of an evil movement that was affecting His Church. As with the seven golden candlesticks, God’s Messiah took something from Jewish history and applied it to His Church, “the Israel of God.”
Enter Exhibit C. In Revelation 3, the Heavenly Interpreter dictated another letter to “the church in Philadelphia” (verse 7) in which He said a Christian could become “a pillar in the temple of My God,” and have a place “in the city of My God, which is New Jerusalem” (verse 12). Don’t miss the significance of this. Not only did Jesus again use Jewish imagery – the temple – and apply it symbolically to His Church, but He also identified another city, “the New Jerusalem,” as God’s real city. And this city will not be a remodeled earthly Jerusalem with its bullet holes covered and the blood of suicide bombers scrubbed away. This one “comes down out of heaven” (ibid.).
Remember, in Revelation’s first chapter, John was “in the Spirit” (1:10) when he received his vision. In fact, throughout Revelation he was “in the Spirit” seeing different things (4:2; 17:3; 21:10). When one is “in the Spirit,” he sees through Holy Spirit eyes instead of with flesh-vision eyes. Remember also, Paul described two Israels, one “after the flesh,” and the other “in Christ.” Again, the question is, Which Israel is the focus of “the Revelation of Jesus Christ”? When God’s final prophetic masterpiece of the Apocalypse talks about “Israel” (7:4), “mount Zion” (14:1), “Jerusalem,” (21:10), “the temple” (11:19), “Sodom and Egypt” (11:8), “Babylon” (17:5), “Euphrates” (16:12), and “Armageddon” (16:16), do these refer to literal, earthly, war-torn, fleshly places not too far from Iraq, south of Baghdad, west of Jordan, east of Tel-Aviv and north of Yasser Arafat’s headquarters?
Enter Exhibit D. The fact is, every specific reference to “Jerusalem” in God’s last book concerns a “New Jerusalem” (3:12; 21:2,10) which sits on a heavenly “great and high mountain [Mount Zion]” (21:10; 14:1), that houses “the temple of God … in heaven” (11:19; 15:5; 16:1,17) and is the final home a victorious “Israel” (7:4) which “follows the Lamb wherever He goes” (14:4,1). The enemy of God’s “New Jerusalem” is a “great city” called “Mystery Babylon” (14:8; 17:5; 18:2) which “sits on [the] many waters” (17:1) of the “great river Euphrates” (16:12) until God’s wrath finally demolishes it at “Armageddon” (16:16,19). What’s happening here? A little reflection – combined with Holy Spirit enlightenment – shows that Revelation is ingeniously using the terminology and landscape of the Middle East in a unique, heavenly and spiritual sense.
Let’s look closer at “the great river Euphrates.” The Bible says, “And the sixth angel poured out his vial on the great river Euphrates; and its water was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared” (Revelation 16:12). Those who interpret Revelation’s Middle East terminology literally – such as in Left Behind’s 11th book, Armageddon – usually apply this passage to Asian kings marching across a dry riverbed to shoot bullets at Jews at Armageddon. One well-known American radio preacher suggests a Turkish dam might be the means of drying up the river (2). Is this really what Revelation 16:12 is about?
In order to understand this mysterious prophecy, we must first study some Bible history about ancient Israel and literal Babylon. In 605 B.C., “Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon” came “to Jerusalem, and besieged it” (Daniel 1:1). Jerusalem was conquered and Judah was taken captive for 70 years (Daniel 9:2). After 70 years, an amazing set of circumstances occurred. The Euphrates was dried up, Babylon was conquered from the east and God’s people were delivered. This history forms the background for a true understanding of Revelation 16:12.
Ancient Babylon sat on the Euphrates (Jeremiah 51:63, 64). A wall surrounded the city. The Euphrates ran through Babylon, entering and exiting through two spiked gates whose bars reached down into the riverbed. When these twin gates were shut and all other entrances were closed, Babylon was virtually impregnable.
In 538 B.C., on the night of ancient Babylon’s fall, her king and subjects were drunk with wine (see Daniel 5). So were the guards, and they forgot to fully close the double doors. Over 100 years earlier, God had predicted concerning Babylon and the Euphrates, “I will dry up your rivers” (Isaiah 44:27). The Lord also spoke about “Cyrus,” the man who conquered Babylon, saying, “I will…open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut” (Isaiah 45:1). Moreover God called Cyrus “my shepherd” and “his anointed” (Isaiah 44:28; 45:1). Thus Cyrus was a type of Jesus Christ. And he came “from the east” (Isaiah 46:11)!
Housed in the British Museum in London lies the famous Cyrus Cylinder which describes how Cyrus, a general of Darius, conquered Babylon. Cyrus and his army dug trenches upstream alongside the river Euphrates which diverted the flowing water. The river gradually went down as it ran through Babylon. No one noticed. That night, at the height of Belshazzar’s drunken party (see Daniel 5), the water became low enough for Cyrus and his men to stealthily slip under the double doors, which had been left open. Quickly they overran the doomed city, killing the king (Daniel 5:30), and conquering Babylon. Then Cyrus issued his famous decree to let Israel go (Ezra 1). The Jews were free. Ingeniously, “the Revelation of Jesus Christ” makes use of the dusty history of this ancient event and then applies it with stunning, apocalyptic force to another “Babylon,” another “Israel,” another “Euphrates,” and another deliverance from “the east.”
In the Old Testament, the battle was clearly between the literal nation of Israel and literal Babylon (Daniel 1). In Revelation, we also find a struggle between “Israel” and “Babylon” (7:4; 14:1,8). As you well know, the majority of prophecy teachers apply this, at least the “Israel” part of it, to literal Jews on the west bank. But let’s be consistent. What about “Babylon”? Does this apply to a rebuilt city south of Baghdad? Some say yes. The evidence suggests otherwise.
In Revelation 17, a shiny angel beckoned to John: “Come here; I will show you the judgment of the great whore that sits upon many waters” (verse 1). “So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy … having a golden cup in her hand” (verses 3, 4). “And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH” (Revelation 17:1, 3, 4, 5). John was “in the Spirit” (verse 3) when he received this prophecy. So we must be “in the Spirit” to interpret it correctly.
The woman’s name is “Mystery Babylon.” The word, “Mystery” is significant. In Revelation 1, the true Interpreter, Jesus Christ, used the same word as He applied the Jewish imagery of “seven golden candlesticks” to His Church. In Revelation 17, the same word is applied to the enemy of His Church, to “Mystery Babylon.” And this greater “Babylon” has no application to the ancient city whose sun-cracked bricks are now whitening south of Baghdad.
In Old Testament days, literal Babylon sat on the literal river Euphrates. In “the Revelation of Jesus Christ,” “Mystery Babylon” also “sits on many waters” (17:1), yet these waters don’t refer to the literal murky Euphrates now trickling through modern Iraq. I’ll prove it from one primary text. And this text is so explosively significant, it’s like detonating a spiritual nuclear warhead against error. John’s angel interpreter explained, “The waters which you saw, where the whore sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues” (Revelation 17:15, italics added).
According the angel interpreter, the “many waters” of Revelation’s Euphrates represent “people” all over Planet Earth who now support “Mystery Babylon.” They are “drunk with the wine of her fornication” (17:2). “Wine” is obviously symbolic, as is “her fornication.” The “wine” stands for Babylon’s false doctrines, while “her fornication” applies to her unlawful union with “the kings of the earth” (17:2).
“Mystery Babylon” is also “a woman” (17:3). A woman in prophecy represents a church. God likens His people to a “wife” that “has made herself ready” for “the marriage supper of the Lamb” (19:7,9). The Babylonian woman has also “fallen” (14:8). This must mean that “Mystery Babylon” in Revelation represents a globally supported church that has “fallen” away from her true lover, Jesus Christ, and from Bible truth. Yet God still has people inside of Babylon, whom He calls, “My people.” Before the last act of history’s drama, He calls them to “come out” (18:4). Why? Because the river Euphrates is destined to run dry.
“The sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up” (Revelation 16:12, italics added). Left Behind’s Armageddon and countless other theologians apply this drying up of Euphrates to a literal drying so Asian armies can shoot bullets at the Jews at Armageddon. But what does the Bible say dries up the river? Turkey? No. The Word says, “the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates.” This “vial” is one of the seven “vials of the wrath of God” (16:1). Thus, it is the wrath of God, not Turkey, that dries up the Euphrates! What does it mean? Brace yourself. If the “waters” represent “people,” and if the vial of wrath falls on the water, then this means God’s wrath will finally be poured upon people who steadfastly continue supporting Mystery Babylon.
When Heaven’s judgments fall on the swirling waters of Babylon-supporting people, reality will be inescapable. They will realize they’ve been misled. Then they will “hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.” Revelation 17:16. Thus their misplaced support for a false system will vanish. This is how Babylon’s water will dry up, preparing the way for “the kings of the east” (16:12).
In Old Testament days, Cyrus came from “the east” to conquer Babylon (Isaiah 44:26-28; 46:11). The word, “east,” means “sun rising,” and the name, “Cyrus,” means, “sun.” Cyrus came not to attack the Jews, but as their Deliverer, and again, Cyrus was a type of Jesus Christ, the “Sun of righteousness” (Malachi 4:2). In Revelation, God’s angels come from the east (7:2), and Jesus Himself said, “As the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even to the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:27, italics added). Therefore just as Cyrus came from the east to deliver literal Israel from the clutches of literal Babylon, even so will King Jesus descend from the eastern skies with “the armies which were in heaven” (19:14) to conquer spiritual Babylon and to deliver “the Israel of God” (Israel Two) at Armageddon!
What about “Armageddon”? Surprisingly, this exact word is used only once in the Bible, in Revelation 16:16. The Word says, “And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue, Armageddon.” Honestly, there is no literal “place” anywhere on Earth bearing this exact name. It’s true, there is a valley north of Jerusalem which was called “Megiddo” (Judges 5:19) in Bible days. It was a place where the armies of Israel often met foreign enemies in bloody battles. Because “Megiddo,” sounds like, “Armageddon,” millions assume this same place will be the location of a final showdown against the Jews. But is this right?
“Armageddon” represents the apex, the climax, the final battle in Revelation. Will it be a military battle in the Middle East? Let’s be consistent. Throughout Revelation we’ve seen Middle East terms like the “seven golden candlesticks,” (1:20), “Jezebel” (2:20), “Mount Zion,” (14:1), “Jerusalem,” (3:12), “the temple” (11:19), “Sodom and Egypt” (11:8), “Euphrates” (16:12) and “Babylon” (17:5) used in a Christ-centered, heavenly, spiritual sense. When it comes to “Armageddon,” which is a term depicting the grand finale in the greatest apocalyptic book ever written, does it make sense for God’s last book to suddenly shift gears away from its thematic focus by pinpointing a literal, local, high tech, Middle East-based conflagration involving Russians, Chinese, Syrians, and literal Jews?
We don’t have to guess. The answer is in the context surrounding Revelation 16:16. While it is outside the scope of this article to discuss the fascinating details, here are the main points:
  1. The battle involves “the kings of the earth and of the whole world” (16:14), which could not possibly fit inside the valley of Megiddo.
  2. Revelation’s focus is “the temple of heaven” (16:17), not a supposedly soon-to-be-rebuilt Jewish temple on earth.
  3. The affects of Armageddon are global, far beyond the Middle East (16:18-20).
  4. The primary system identified as being destroyed at Armageddon is spiritual “Babylon” (16:19), not Russia, China, or Syria.
In essence, “Armageddon” depicts the final battle between King Jesus and His heavenly armies (19:11-19) against the worldwide forces of Satan referred to in the Apocalypse as “Mystery Babylon.” At the Second Coming, the devil loses, and his global kingdom comes crashing down. Jesus doesn’t need to nuke His foes, but only to use His “sharp two-edged sword” (1:16; 19:15) – which represents His Word of truth (Ephesians 6:17). When Christ descends from the east, He will deliver “Israel” from the clutches of “Babylon.” But which Israel will He deliver? According to the thematic genius of the entire book of Revelation, it must be “the Israel of God” (Galatians 6:16) centered in Jesus Christ whose home and dwelling place is the “New Jerusalem” (Revelation 21:10).
In conclusion, the Middle East remains a powder keg, our U.S. struggle against Muslim radicals like Osama bin Laden continues, and there’s no earthly peace in sight. In the midst of such a “Red Alert” environment, millions of America’s politically active Christians believe God Himself is not only behind modern Israel, but that He will finally annihilate the enemies of the Jewish State at Armageddon. Left Behind’s Armageddon: The Cosmic Battle of the Ages proclaims this forcefully. Yet, as we have clearly seen, this doctrine is contrary to the New Testament. Beyond this, the teaching is actually harmful because it adds gasoline to an already raging Arab fire. An America at “War Against Terror” doesn’t need this!
A careful study of “the Revelation of Jesus Christ” proves that Christianity’s massive “God-Is-Behind-Modern-Israel” theology is just not true. Not that God doesn’t love Modern Israel, the Israeli people, and Jewish people. But as we have seen, Revelation’s focus is not on “Israel after the flesh” (Israel one), but on “the Israel of God” (Israel Two) composed of both Jews and non-Jews (including Arabs) centered in Jesus Christ. If there was ever a time we needed not only to “walk in the Spirit,” but to interpret prophecy according to the Spirit, it’s now.
Real peace can be found in only one place, and it’s available to Jews, Muslim Palestinians, and Christians alike. It’s found at the foot of the cross, in the heart of a Man who loves and died for the entire world. Let’s surrender our lives to Him, so we can be part of His Israel of God.

    The Abomination of Desolation
    by Steve Wohlberg
What is “the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet” (Matthew 24:15)? Does it apply to a future Antichrist entering a rebuilt Jewish temple, as many suppose? What does the Bible really say?
Here is a quick summary of what “Daniel the prophet” wrote about this hot subject:
  3. Daniel 8: The “little horn” attacks “the place of his [Jesus] sanctuary,” “casts down the truth to the ground,” and establishes “the transgression of desolation” (8:11-13).Daniel 9: At the conclusion of the 70th week, the Word says, “for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, and that determined shall be poured out upon the desolate” (9:27).Daniel 11: The forces of evil “pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice [the word “sacrifice” is not in the original Hebrew] and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate” (11:31).Daniel 12: Finally, Daniel’s last chapter refers to a time when “the abomination that maketh desolate” is “set up” (12:11
All of these expressions are not the easiest to interpret, that’s why Jesus said, “whoso readeth, let him understand” (Mathew 24:15).
First of all, let‘s read the whole verse in Matthew 24. Jesus Christ told his disciples, “When you shall therefore see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains…” Matthew 24:15, 16. Jesus was plainly talking to His own disciples about something they would “see.” When they saw it, they were to “flee to the mountains.”
Jesus said the same thing in Luke‘s gospel, yet with some added information: “And when you shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which be in Judea flee to the mountains…” (Luke 21:20,21). Again He was talking to his own disciples about what they would “see.” Yet here He added that they would “see Jerusalem compassed with armies.” When they saw this, they were to know that “the desolation thereof is nigh.” This clear passage reveals that one simple application of “the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,” has reference to the destruction of Jerusalem with its temple in 70 AD, by the armies of Titus. Historically, the disciples did see this. Abundant documentation reveals that right before the destruction of Jerusalem, all the Jewish Christians inside the city fled to the mountains and found refuge in the city of Pella. Not one perished in the siege.
But there is more. A careful study of Daniel’s statements also reveal another “abomination of desolation,” against another “sanctuary,” by the “little horn,” which represents the Antichrist. In harmony with the Protestant Reformers, we take the position that the little horn represents Papal Rome. Our Lord Jesus Christ is now our great High Priest in His heavenly sanctuary (Hebrews 8:1,2,6). The good news is – we sinners can now be saved by going directly to our loving heavenly Father through Jesus Christ (John 14:6). But officially, and sadly, the Roman Church says no. It teaches that people cannot be saved by going directly to God through Jesus Christ (a Protestant doctrine), but rather that we must go through Mary, popes, priests, and saints – through the Roman Catholic Church. Amazingly, this earthly priesthood with its many mediators is actually an attack on “the prince” (Daniel 8:11) and on “the place of his sanctuary” (Daniel 8:11). Truly, Papal Rome has “cast down the truth to the ground” (Daniel 8:12). It has “practised, and prospered” (Daniel 8:12).
This earthly priesthood, which really points away from Jesus Christ and His ministry in the heavenly sanctuary, is truly a “transgression of desolation” (Daniel 8:13) and the setting up of “an abomination that maketh desolate” (Daniel 12:11). Bible prophecy has given it such a name because this massive diversion away from Jesus Christ alone, which has been “set up” in the heart of Christianity, is not only an attack on Christ’s heavenly sanctuary ministration (Hebrews 8:1,2,6), but also leads to “desolation” in the heart of the sinner, who is also spoken of as “the temple of God” (1 Corinthians 3:16). True salvation can only come through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Only the love and matchless grace of Jesus Christ can cleanse the sanctuary of an unworthy, sin-polluted human heart.
In conclusion, there are really two major abominations of desolation “spoken of by Daniel the prophet.” This first occurred when the armies of Pagan Rome, led by Titus, destroyed the literal Jewish Temple in 70 AD. This is very clear in Luke 21: 20-22. The second has occurred because Papal Rome has set up its own priesthood and many mediators against the heavenly Temple of Jesus Christ, our great High Priest (Hebrews 8:1,2), whose grace alone can save from sin.
“Whoso readeth, let him understand” (Matthew 24:15)
Armageddon Illusions
by Steve Wohlberg
Armageddon! This frightening apocalyptic word refers to earth’s last battle. But who are the contestants? “Russia, China, or Iran against Israel” is a common reply. As the Middle East simmers toward a boiling point, and as U.S., British, and Israeli intelligence monitor closely Iran and Al Qaeda’s quest for a nuclear bomb – which could be used against America – millions of Christians, Jews, Muslims, and even secularists are pondering, “Is Armageddon at hand?” I believe it is. Yet I’m also convinced that massive Armageddon illusions are rampant. Let me explain.
The word “Armageddon” appears only once in the entire Bible, in Revelation 16:16. If you open God’s Word and read this passage for yourself, along with the verses immediately before and after it, you will be amazed at what you’ll find – and not find. Take a close look, and see for yourself:
And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found (Revelation 16:12-20).
First of all, the word “Jew” is not found in this entire section, which is rather striking, especially since the common belief is that Armageddon is a bloody military battle against Israelis. Second, at least some of the above words are symbolic, for verse 13 mentions “the dragon” and “the beast” – both of which are depicted as having “seven heads and ten horns” (see Revelation 12:3; 13:1). Will a literal, fire-breathing dragon trot across the globe before Jesus Christ returns? How about a scaly beast? No. These are inspired symbols that must be interpreted correctly.
On the side of the enemy, Revelation pinpoints the combined forces of the “dragon,” “beast,” “false prophet” (verse 13), “spirits of devils” (verse 14), and “great Babylon” (verse 19) which finally drinks “the wine of the fierceness of [God’s] wrath.” Thus it’s the “dragon,” “beast,” “false prophet,” “spirits of devils,” and “great Babylon” who are the bad guys. They will be crushed at Armageddon.
On Heaven’s side are “God Almighty” (verse 14), Jesus Christ (verse 15), and individuals who “watch and keep [their] garments” (verse 15). These “garments” represent the spotless robe of Jesus Christ’s righteousness (see Revelation 7:9), which He places upon individuals – Jews and Gentiles – who repent and trust His grace. According to Revelation 16:15, these will survive Armageddon.
Thus Revelation 16’s focus is the Heavenly temple, where Jesus Christ now ministers
Those gathered to Armageddon are “the kings of the earth and of the whole world” (verse 14), not just Middle East dwellers. When Armageddon hits, God’s voice thunders from “the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, ‘It is done!’” (verse 17). Thus Revelation 16’s focus is the Heavenly temple, where Jesus Christ now ministers (see Hebrews 8:1, 2), not a rebuilt temple on earth. How about the affect of Armageddon? A massive earthquake rocks the globe (verse 18), “the cities of the nations” crumble (verse 19), “and every island fled away, and the mountains were not found” (verse 20). Thus Armageddon is global, not local. The entire earth is decimated.
What about “the great river Euphrates” drying up (Revelation 16:12)? Will the literal Euphrates River now flowing near modern Baghdad someday evaporate? “Definitely!” some tell me, “Don’t you believe the Bible?” Of course I do. But just think with me for a moment. “The great river Euphrates” is mentioned right before “the dragon” and “the beast,” which are symbolic terms. What about the river? Could it be symbolic as well? Let’s take a closer look.
Revelation 16 not only mentions the “great river Euphrates” (verse 12), but also “great Babylon” (verse 19). This great Babylon is described in Revelation 17 as an unholy whore riding a beast. Clearly, this is symbolic. No literal prostitute riding a reddish monster will be reported on CNN. Hell’s Harlot also “sits upon many waters” (Revelation 17:1). In Old Testament days, ancient Babylon sat on the Euphrates. Drawing upon Old Testament history, Revelation depicts a larger “Mystery Babylon” (Revelation 17:5) again seated upon “many waters.” What does this mean?
An angelic interpreter declared, “The waters which you saw, where the whore sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues” (Revelation 17:15, emphasis added). According to the angel – not Steve Wohlberg – “the waters” surging beneath Hell’s Harlot represent people around the world who support Mystery Babylon. Eventually, these waters will be “dried up.” Why? Because the 6th angel pours out God’s wrath upon these very waters! Read Revelation 16:1 and 12. This means that right before Armageddon, God’s judgments will suddenly drop upon people who support Babylon’s deceptions instead of following the truth of Jesus Christ and wearing His white robe. This prepares the way “for the kings of the east” (Revelation 16:12).
In Old Testament days, Cyrus, whom God called “My shepherd” (Isaiah 44:28), attacked from “the east” (see Isaiah 46:11), dried up the Euphrates (Isaiah 44:27), conquered Babylon (see Daniel 5), and freed Israel from captivity (see Ezra 1). This history is utilized in the book of Revelation as a type of the apocalyptic moment when Jesus Christ, God’s Shepherd, descends from “the east” (see Matthew 24:27) to rescue those wearing white robes at Armageddon!
Armageddon is vastly bigger than a military conflict just east of Tel Aviv. Its scope is global, its enemies are massive, and its deliverance is worldwide.
To summarize, the popular notion that Armageddon is a Middle East showdown against Jews is not supported by Revelation 16:12-21 – the only place in Scripture where the word “Armageddon” is used. This theory is an Armageddon Illusion. Yes, these are the last days; yes, Islamic Jihadists are irrationally insane; and yes, their murderous madness could ignite the spark leading to earth’s last battle. But according to Revelation, Armageddon is vastly bigger than a military conflict just east of Tel Aviv. Its scope is global, its enemies are massive, and its deliverance is worldwide. Ultimately, it’s Lucifer’s entire Babylonian system (representing all false religions) that gets smashed to pieces when King Jesus descends from the eastern skies with His heavenly army (see Revelation 19:11-16, 19).
The most important question is, will we be ready for that day? Jesus Christ has told us exactly how to be ready. His specific counsel is,
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. (Revelation 16:15, 16).
There it is. We must “watch” and “keep” Jesus Christ’s garments. That’s the key. How do we do this? By forsaking every sin, trusting Jesus Christ fully, following truth, and daily walking with Him by His grace.
My wife Kristin and I, along with our two-year-old son Seth, recently spent a week in Oklahoma because of one of my speaking appointments. One afternoon Seth and I took a walk near a pile of rocks. As little boys often do, Seth reached down and grabbed a sizable rock and innocently flung it into the air – right into my mouth! After realizing that no teeth were broken and I was only bleeding slightly, my next thought was to teach Seth a lesson. “Seth,” I said softly, “you just hurt daddy. I know it was an accident, but you should say, ‘I’m sorry daddy.’” Within seconds he repeated robotically, “I’m sorry daddy.” But I could tell he didn’t mean it.
As I continued nursing my swollen lip, an amazing thing happened. Seth took a few steps, turned around, looked intensely at me, and repeated again on his own initiative, “I’m sorry daddy!” This really touched me, for I knew that, even as a 2-year-old, he genuinely felt sorry that he hurt daddy.
Just then a lesson struck my own heart. How often do we say, “I’m sorry Jesus,” without really meaning it? God wants to change this. By the Holy Spirit, He longs to reach our consciences with the awareness of how horrible sin is, and how much it hurts Him. When we see the cross, then we understand. “I’m sorry Jesus!” should be our earnest, heartfelt response.
Then Jesus will place His white robe on us.
Then we will “watch” and “keep” our garments.
This is the only way to be ready for Armageddon.

NATIONAL ISRAEL…..I am an Historisist, so that naturally brings up the doctrine of “Spiritual Israel” or AS IT IS KNOWN BY IT’S DETRACTORS “Replacement Theology”, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT I AM DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD..BETWEEN THE TWO VIEWS! I do believe that God is using the TRUE CHURCH as he used National Israel in the Old Testament, FILLING THE CHURCH WITH BOTH JEWS AND GENTILES AS A NEW NATION IN AND OF THEMSELVES.                                                                                                                                                          Romans 2:25-29 (KJV) ” For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.  Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?  And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?  For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

“Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the
Election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded…unto
this day.”
Romans 11:7,8.

THE words of the Apostle Peter,Acts 2:39 (KJV)” For the promise is unto you(National Israel in the Flesh), and to your children(National Israel in the Flesh), and to all(Spiritual Israel in the New Covenant) that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. “, are in full harmony with all of the Lord’s dealings with Israel, and with His Covenant with them as the posterity of His servant Abraham. The “Seed,” promised by the Lord in His Covenant with Abraham, was for many centuries supposed to mean only the natural seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob–only those who were under the Law of Moses–the Jewish nation. But there was a condition attached to this promise of heirship. When God entered into the Covenant with Israel, the understanding was that if they would keep the Law they should have everlasting life and should inherit the privilege of blessing all the families of the earth–all peoples. But that if they did not keep the Law, then they would be cut off from all these favors.               It’s this simple,THE ONLY MEMBERS OF TRUE ISRAEL TODAY UNDER THE NEW COVENANT ARE THOSE WHO HAVE RECEIVED YESHUA AS THEIR MESSIAH,THEY ARE ISRAEL! The keeping of the Law was required, however, that Israel might have a right to life everlasting and to share in any of God’s promises. But they could not keep the Law; consequently none of them gained life. Yet there were some who manifested such heart loyalty to God that He declared that they were acceptable to Him. These faithful, obedient ones met the conditions by which they might, through the Redeemer whom God would in due time provide, become a part of the “Seed” who was to bless “all the families of the earth.” As they had no knowledge of the purpose of God to have a Spiritual Seed, the attaining of a place in the natural seed to bless all mankind was all that they had hoped for. St. Paul points out that these Worthies of past ages will have a glorious place in the Kingdom. “These all died in faith, not having received the Promises,…God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.”–Hebrews 11:13,40. Jesus declared to the unfaithful Jews of His day, “Ye shall see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the Kingdom of God, and ye yourselves thrust out.” (Luke 13:28.) The faithful saints who lived before Christ will be the human representatives of the Kingdom. They will be “princes in all the earth,” as declared by the Lord through the Prophet David. (Psalm 45:16.) Thus they will receive a great blessing. Until Christ came God never led the Jews to understand His Plan for the Spiritual Seed. His time for bringing this feature of His Plan to light and for calling candidates for places in this Seed class, had not yet come. Those who lived prior to this Call were not deceived in any manner nor defrauded of anything. God merely told them of the possibilities which were before them of becoming blessers of the world. Such as accepted the possibilities and rendered the Lord full obedience to the best of their ability, became heirs of the earthly phase of the Kingdom and the promises belonging thereto. When our Lord Jesus came, His ministry and that of the Apostles up to the time of the close of the “seventy weeks” (symbolic) yet remaining of Jewish favor, was, according to God’s agreement with Israel, confined to the Jewish people. And as many of them as were of the right condition of heart undoubtedly received the Message. As the Jews were the chosen people of God, because of being the natural seed of Abraham, His friend, when the time came for calling out the Spiritual Seed the opportunity of becoming of this Seed must first go to Israel. Afterwards, the offer went to the Gentiles, to take out from them a sufficient number to complete the Spiritual Seed–the Gospel Church. Natural Israel never were heirs unconditionally of any part of the Promise to Abraham nor heirs, as a nation, of the spiritual part of the Promise–the chief, the principal part. They were on trial before the Law of God, which was expressed in their Law Covenant, to see whether or not they would be worthy of eternal life. And so it was with our Lord Jesus when He was made flesh, born under the Law–subordinate to the Law. (Galatians 4:4.) It was only because He was perfect and kept the Law, that He was able in God’s due time to present His body a living sacrifice as a Substitute for Adam. His faithful keeping of the Law proved His right to eternal life; and His sacrifice of that life as a man, under God’s arrangement, raised Him to the highest place in the Universe next to Jehovah–the Divine plane–with authority to execute Jehovah’s Program for the salvation of the world of mankind. He thus became the Head of the Spiritual Seed of Abraham. When Jesus made His consecration, He was begotten of the Spirit. He was born of the Spirit, completed of the Spirit, in His resurrection, and He was the First born to this condition. Afterward, those Jews who were in the right condition of heart were accepted on the same terms. But instead of God’s making those called to be of the Spiritual Seed actuallyHebrews 7:26.) God imputes to the followers of Jesus a sufficiency of His merit that they may be reckoned just–counted as perfect. The whole object of this reckoning is to give us the privilege of becoming Spiritual Israelites by sacrificing. So the Father’s arrangement is that if we desire to be the disciples of Jesus we must take up our cross and follow Him, becoming dead to the flesh, dead to self, dead to everything worldly. Then Christ becomes our Advocate. The Father accepts all such as His sons. The Apostle Paul exhorts all who have accepted the redemption that is in Christ, saying, “I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”–Romans 12:1. The picture that God gives through the Apostle Paul in the 11th chapter of Romans represents Israel as the trunk and the branches of the olive tree, and the root of the tree as the Promise which God made to Abraham, which was to bless the world. God had not explained His Plan to them, but had merely said: “Do you wish to enter into a Covenant with Me–to be My peculiar people?” “Yes,” was the answer. “When will you be ready?” “We are ready now,” they replied. And so this Covenant was made, which constituted them the nation, or tree, growing out of the root of Promise. The Promise was primarily spiritual, though this fact was long kept hidden. God never purposes to do anything except through the Spiritual Seed, but Natural Israel did not know this. They declared that they would be all that God wished them to be, if only they might have the Promise made to Abraham their Father. What it was they did not know, although they thought they knew. They were anxious to have the best at any rate. And they still had this thought and this hope in Jesus’ day; as St. Paul said: “Unto which Promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come.” (Acts 26:7.) And again the Apostle says: “Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for, but the Election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded”; that is, those of the Jews who came into Christ became of the Elect.–Rom. 11:7. just, perfect–as our Lord Jesus was–He justifies them by faith. Jesus was absolutely without imperfection–the Apostle Paul speaks of Him as being “holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners.” (

NOW HERE’S THE PROBLEM!!

Replacement Theology essentially teaches that the church has replaced Israel in God’s plan. ( Please Remember that ALL Jews and Gentiles that are “Born anew” are of ONE NEW MAN in the anointed Messiah so there is no REPLACING of anyone necessary…that theology is of the flesh thinking! It is God himself that has replaced FLESH and BLOOD with a new spiritual man called “The Church of the Anointed”) Adherents of Replacement Theology believe that the Jews are no longer God’s chosen people, and God does not have specific future plans for the nation of Israel. All the different views of the relationship between the church and Israel can be divided into two camps: either the Church is a continuation of Israel (Replacement Theology / Covenant Theology), or the Church is completely different and distinct from Israel (Dispensationalism / Premillennialism). Remember I am in the middle on this, because we are both “Born of one spirit” and thus one person in Christ not two distinct people on separate footing! The Nation called Israel in the Middle East is only a fleshly nation of NON-spiritual Jews among hundreds of fleshly nations of NON-Spiritual Gentiles fullfilling a plan that God has for them AS FLESH AND BLOOD PEOPLE progressing a GREATER Spiritual Plan for HIS TRUE Church! As time progresses into the future the Nation called Israel will become the focus of God’s wrath and his unending blessing as the TRUE SPIRITUAL Son’s and Daughters made up of FORMER fleshly Jews and Gentiles become ONE BRIDE to forever rule from Jerusalem.

Replacement Theology teaches that the Church is the replacement for Israel, and that the many promises made to Israel in the Bible are fulfilled in the Christian Church, not in Israel. So, the prophecies in Scripture concerning the blessing and restoration of Israel to the Promised Land are “spiritualized” or “allegorized” into promises of God’s blessing for the Church. Major problems exist with this view, such as the continuing existence of the Jewish people throughout the centuries, and especially with the revival of the modern state of Israel. If Israel has been condemned by God, and there is no future for the Jewish nation, how do we explain the supernatural survival of the Jewish people over the past 2000 years despite the many attempts to destroy them? How do we explain why and how Israel reappeared as a nation in the 20th century after not existing for 1900 years?

I believe there is a middle ground here somewhere since the point CANNOT be overcome on either side, they BOTH SOUND GOOD..so where do we go?

Spiritual Israel- IS THE TRUE CHURCH IT?

In religion today you hear all kinds of misinformation that is taught as bible truth. For example some teach you have to be water baptized to be saved. Others teach against this saying water baptism is “an outward sign of an inward commitment”. Then there are the issues of tongues, healing’s, tithing, gifts, signs, judgments, communion, forgiveness, atonement, and covenants, not to mention salvation, justification, redemption and reconciliation. Why is there so much confusion in churches today? Why is it that you can drive down any city street and find many, many kinds of church buildings? What is the reason for so much division? There is division because there is very little “right division”. The confusion in the churches today stems from an evil root that fails to grasp several vital, yea, imperative bible truths. There is confusion because of a failure to…. Rightly divide the word of truth, Acknowledge Paul as the apostle to the Gentiles, Recognize the distinctiveness of the church the body of Christ On the other hand, a complete harmony of the scriptures takes place when we employ these principles. Throughout the church there are those who are not of the “mature faith”, they are immature in the ways of the Anointed one concerning His ultimate plan of reconciliation for the last generation; the proof of this is the fact that they label others as “REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY”. We can see a people in the body of the Anointed Messiah being deceived by these teachers. These teachers target and label anyone that uses the terminology “spiritual Israel”.We are called of God to clarify some simple truth so that you may never be subverted by their ignorance in unbelief. Some in the body of Christ say that natural Israel is the SEED and that natural Israel is the object of all Old Testament scripture, though many have different degrees to which they apply this doctrine. Some of them pick and choose by some complicated method that scripture pertains to natural Israel EXCLUSIVELY and another scripture will pertain to the church. They are quite confused, these same Christians existed in Paul’s day, and therefore he strongly admonished them. Paul made it quite simple even for the spiritual dimwits, “Spiritual Israel” is BOTH Jew AND Greek. And together we comprise God’s great plan. Paul calls both Jew and Greek – branches from the SAME TREE! One is a natural branch and the other is a wild olive branch. Paul clearly taught in Romans that the natural branch was cast off BECAUSE OF IT’S SIN. What does Paul mean by that? Though Yeshua was a Jew, to abide in Yeshua as a natural Jew you cannot “naturally” attach TO THE TRUE SPIRITUAL TREE. It is through faith not by natural birthright, not by Cain or Esau. Therefore by faith the Jew first, at the day of Pentecost, attached by faith not flesh to Yesuha and three thousand were saved – grafted into his “spiritual Israel”. Please notice here that spiritual Israel existed FIRST as the Jew NOT the Gentile nations it was only afterwards that the gospel was preached to the gentiles and they likewise were grafted by faith. So what we have now is natural Israel branches grafted in alongside wild olive branches that were grafted in. One has NO INHERITANCE over the other because ALL are fellow heirs with Anointed Messiah, he is the binding agent.

Christ is SPIRITUAL ISRAEL; He is the ONLY heir according to promise! This new doctrine, this new covenant is called the new wine. The old wineskin is equal to the non-grafted natural branches; they represent the natural Old Testament order, which are fulfilled, and cast away. As a natural Jew you must receive and hold this new wine in a new wineskin. The new wineskin is God’s new way of doing things – to abide in Yeshua and get grafted, get new. When the old wineskin became discarded it was because Yeshua fulfilled all that it represented. Jesus was the promise, He was the Promised Land, He was the final and ultimate sacrifice, He was the Temple, and He was Israel. How could anyone deny that Yeshua is Spiritual Israel when Paul describes how the promise was not to seeds as many but to Seed as One. Therefore when you are in the Anointed Yeshua you are IN SPIRITUAL ISRAEL. This is not hard to understand. To deny this is to deny Yeshua’s birthright to the promise. God did not plan fo a “dual plan or dual promise”; it is totally exclusive to Yeshua. Therefore when the Bible talks about Israel or about the Jew in relationship to the promise, it is written to ONE PERSON – Yeshua. It prophecy to One Person – YESHUA! When the first animal was slain to cover Adam and Eve it prophesied of Yeshua. Every animal sacrificed afterwards pointed over and over and over again to Yeshua the sacrifice. Likewise, each natural Jew that was born pointed over and over and over again to Yeshua – the Heir of the promise. Those IN Yeshua are co-heirs because of BEING grafted into the TRUE VINE YESHUA not because of the law or natural birth.

I do believe that “Natural Israel” is still being DIRECTED BY G*D to an ultimate end BUT only because natural Israel must complete her cycle in the prophetic plan of G*d…but Natural Israel MUST REPENT in order to be included in Yeshua’s Spiritual Body, made up of BOTH NATURAL JEW’S FROM THE SEED AND THOSE WHO WERE NEVER A NATURAL SEED! After all G*D said that the Gospel was to the JEW FIRST then to the Gentile. Here’s a LINK to the Agenda of the Jesuits in regard to Israel : Jesuit Agendas

What God intends is this, the last days Church is a two-winged church, Jew and Greek, yet ONE in the Spirit. The church is not a “Jewish church” which thinks it is more special than the “gentile church” andthe church is not a gentile church which thinks it is more special than the Jewish church. The Christian Jews will SERVE both gentile and Jew in the same manner and the Christian gentiles will SERVE both Jew and gentile in the same manner. This is the way of the anointed Messiah, REMEMBER that G*D choses those who serve Him in spirit and in truth and NO ONE CAN DO THAT UNLESS THEY ARE “NEW COVENANT” BELIEVER’S. Natural Israel is NOT under the New covenant plan of G*D as far as being saved and free in Messiah BUT is under G*D’S prophetic plan to fulfill the complete picture in these last days of History! THE “TRUE CHOSEN PEOPLE” ARE THOSE WHO ACCEPT THE MESSIAH’S PLAN OF REDEMPTION NOT THE OLD SHADOW OF THESE THINGS WHICH WAS THE SCHOOL TEACHER LEADING TO THE MESSIAH’S IDENTITY. I love my Jewish Brothers & Sisters in Messiah and I hope I am totally clear about what I said here, if not I’m sure that I will hear about any thing that needs clearifing!
